My hair has been cut, so I now look semi respectable.
I’ll probably even make an effort to keep it tidy from now on.
Haven’t been for a decent roll on my skateboard in a good month, i’ll probably twist mike dee’s arm into going for a skate by making him watch Layout’s DVD.

Speaking of things I haven’t done, I haven’t taken my car for a spin in over two week’s, living without a car sucks balls! I didn’t realise how dependent I’ve become on it, in two weeks I’ve been to the supermarket once, and there were 5 of us in a shitty little suzuki swift, so I didn’t buy big… in short, I’ve eaten alot of Chinese these past two weeks.

Car didn’t go to the mechanic before Easter as I’d planned, but its going in this week, hopefully I can afford to get it roadworthy once more.
Riki is looking into making a custom silver paint for it (mixing left over silvers from other cars together) it will be one of a kind, and cheap!

• You may have noticed less link’s at the top of the blog, I’m starting to streamline my blog/ getting rid of pages I really haven’t been updating

Tiger people are difficult to resist, for they are magnetic characters and their natural air of authority confers a certain prestige on them. They are tempestuous yet calm, warm-hearted yet fearsome, courageous in the face of danger yet yielding, soft and mysterious in unexpected places. Its a sad, no bullshit tale about how fucked up society as a whole really is (or has become post cold war), wither your growing up in a war-zone, or making money off it, and alot of people are making money off pointless ethnic cleansing.

The other DVD I got was Hot Shots and Hot Shots part deux, Hot shots was the first movie I ever got on tape, I had recorded it back in the 90′s, so my copy of it had some humorous adverts laced into what is one of my favourite spoof movie’s, similarly Part Deux was the first legal VHS tape I ever owned, my auntie sent it to me on one of my birthday’s along with some gnarly movie poster… oh those were the day’s, anyway I figured if I was going to watch something political, I may aswell even things out with something really funny, and Ive wanted both of these movies on DVD for the longest time, so I consider this a huge score.

I woke up on a tiny couch, with a cat meowing… on the wrong side of Wellington, the sign of a crazy night before.
Came home and found a bag full of swag from my parents trip to Australia, some very tasteful T-Shirts (in the only colour dark enough to wear) motorhead vans (geoff rowley 99′s) and a bottle of 42 below fejoa vodka.

Mike Dee’s blog seem’s to be up and running once again, which is great news for you all because its something interesting to read, and Mike is awesome to the max.

Parent’s got back from Australia at midnight, hope they like the present.

I scored a new job, painting, I start at 7am tomorrow morning, which means I’m going to go to bed very soon.
The cat is out of the bag, and my parents now know all about the ixnay project, so I can fill you reader’s in, we fairly much renovated my parents house, while they were away in Australia, no more asbestos, no more 1970′s wallpaper, no more yellow carpet.

I had hair full of plaster, pasty white skin, sore knee’s and a stink that could only attract billy goat’s… and ugly girls.

my car is dead, for the moment, so it’s sitting pretty in Levin, fingers crossed its safe at my parents house, long story short, what started out as a simple split hose has turned into a big ugly mess that I cant figure out, the thing overheats after driving about 2 km, while fixing it I brought it upon myself to install a pod filter, with help from Riki, we even fabricated a cheap cold air box for the moment (until I make an aluminium one) it sounds amazing, looks way better, and finally some work has gone into the old thing… now if only I could take it for a decent cruise.

My dA sub has run out, I haven’t been missing the site at all, I’ll be trying to destroy my flickR account over the next few hour’s.

I recently decided to stop updating my deviantART account, I am a big fan of the dA community, but certain things are getting to me (namely, the bulky amount of anthro/ manga style art that isn’t any good, the management of the site going down the toilet, advertisements, new privacy policy’s and the vast loading times users now suffer.) and now that my subscription is running out, its just a good time to be done with it.

I’ll probably still browse the site from time to time, check up on some of the great people I’ve meet over the last 3 to 4 year’s and the great artwork they’re producing, but I’ve had my run in something that’s turned into a popularity contest, and I’d like to devote my time into actually creating a body of work I’m proud of rather than rabidly looking for other people’s approval.

but who know’s, I could be back on dA by the end of the month, the site is like crack to a person like me…

I decided while sitting outside having a smoke with Sarah today, that I’m going to base my main body of fine art on traditional SLR photography, I’m doing this for a few reason’s, its something I’m not great at, its become less popular with the growth of digital photography, and its fun, some of my best memory’s of Waiopehu College and Mr Harris came from the photography classes I took in 6th and 7th form, so I’m dusting off the trusty old Hanimex, buying some grainy black and white film, and hitting the street’s!

Today I…

• Bought the latest Manual Magazine, its only up to 25 releases, which mean’s its pretty damn young still, its great because its the photo issue, and therefore packed with awesom-o photo’s.
• Found out that Momo (Allysha to everyone else) is in hospital, and has had internal bleeding, I found out because she text me at 6am to tell me that hospital food is nasty… so get well soon Momo.
• Am driving to Levin (project ixnay)

I probably wont be online for the next few day’s, as the project will not allow for it, but if any of the Levin-anon or Palmy crew’s want to hang out text me up.
