I returned from a quick stint in Levin, to see some retarded Neo Nazi’s had spray painted there vulgar filth all over a Petone landmark.
The water fountan / sculpture.
I say retarded Neo Nazi’s for several reasons, first of all, they’re calling themselves Nazi’s, a political group that has ended, if you want to be a racist bigot, at least keep with the time’s.
Call yourself a National Front Activist, or better yet a Don Brash National Party supporter if brownies with money scare you.
Second of all, they spray painted the Swastika backwards, good one you culturless white skinheaded shits, do you even know what an inverted Swastika stands for? infact, the Swastika was stolen off the peace symbol you inevitably sprayed all over what was a gorgeous marble sculpture that kept white people just as happy as the colourd folk you seem to mindlessly despise.
I really hope the council get off there arses and clean this mess up, they should also consider putting camera’s in, and paying locals to smack these guys across the skull with a piece’s of 4 by 2, the council can pay us 10 dollars for every idiot racist beaten.
I’m a bit sad right now, mainly because this morning was the last time I get to work with one of my favourite people (and no doubt the best staff member we have) Renee.

What the hell are we going to do without Renee? Anyways, shes invited me out on Saturday Night with her Man, and friends, and then again on Sunday for brunch (Rawiri, if she hasn’t got in contact with you yet, try get Sunday off) and then shes out of here.

Deciding whether I should go to Massey next year, or just finish up at Weltec, sister Renee was telling me about a visual arts course which sounds fairly interesting.

Had a few drinks at Rob’s, now im tired as a mofo, just to clear things up one last time, I wasnt having a winge about the lack of help looking for a flat in the last post, I was saying that I was chuffed everyone was helping out.
It’s Saturday morning and to be honest, I dont know if I can be botherd going into town for Renee’s fairwell party tonight, especially since I know she’s having a brunch on Sunday, its not that I dont want to go kick it with my friends, its that Im sick of my wallet being totaly empty, coming home reeking of whatever ive been drinking and waking up feeling like shit.
Though having a few is a good time and totaly worth it.
Right now I’m looking into picking up a 2nd job, I’m earning a comfortable amount right now, and the hours are perfect for going straight back to course and finishing what I came to Wellington to do.
So I’m also going in for a prospectus and deciding once and for all wither ill finish the final year of design, or take the more probable option of level 6 fine arts, there’s a few reasons for this, I work and live in Petone, and the exec’s at Weltec are too useless to make Media Design work for the bulk of there students over the last 4 years.
We moved to Petone to attend Weltec, that was the pull factor to Petone, If I had known the creative industry’s campus was going to be moved to the other side of the city, I would have looked for accommodation on the other side of the city, you cant expect people to uproot there whole lives to change campus, or spend god knows what amounts on parking / commuting to the CBD, especially when theyre poor students.
Unlike Media Design, which was a great class until the shift midway through 2005, Fine Arts is still situated in Petone’s C Block, its close to work, and fairly close to my home, theres free parking for students, and its more fun.
The other thing I have been eyeing up is looking into hospitality (Like Rob) I’m really enjoying the industry and the people I’m working with, though the hours people like Rachelle do seem to really suck the life out of you.
Quite a bit of dialogue going on the flat hunting scene now, which is good, nice to know all the boys have there eyes open, and are pitching in to do there share, the last time I was in a flat, and things were starting to slow down and come to an end, I was one of two people doing all the searching, and it became a stressful situation very fast.
Sarah brought cookies into the bar last night, and the staff went crazy, for those of you who do not know, Sarah is Robs girlfriend, and shes gone baking crazy.
None of the boys mind, because she force feeds us cookies.

I came across this tragic love story recently, check it out.
The image its based around made me smile, its a great blog entry, well worth 2 minutes of your time.

Trying to sift through all the bullshite at Studylink trying to get a student loan / course related costs / student allowance type thing sorted out, might have to get in contact with Duff, he’s a handy friend to have seeing as he works for studylink, and can explain these things to people like a human (and usually clears things up for me) If I can get my shit sorted, I’m going back to tec in February and finishing this.

My iPod is dying, its had a good run, but Ive noticed the battery life getting shorter and shorter, sometimes the battery is half full, then the iPod tells me its empty, turn it on two times and its full again.
I know I’m not alone on this, Ive read all about the problems with iPods internal battery, and its something you just live with, Benny and Jeff have told me where to go if I want the battery replaced, so I may do that, or it might be time for an upgrade.
Life has a weird way of all coming together like a jigsaw puzzle, or a film by the great Tarantino, for instance, throughout college a good friend of mine, Raymond Chan and I would go on about how we where going to guzzle coffee’s on the weekend, and chat about where we were in life, trying to make it as artists, designers, Wellingtonians it was of course a great Ruse, a vain attempt to get another great friend (and one of the guys we spent most of our school day with) Jay to come down with us and explore the windy city.
None of it happened, Raymond and I didn’t realise just how busy we would be, the effect of meeting new people, even how big Wellington is in comparison to the tidy little hub of Horowhenua. Levin.
However while sitting and reflecting on my life so far, I realised, I do go out on the weekend, to my favourite cafe, and chug coffee in the sun with good friends.
The group of guys I originally wanted to live with at the end of 7th form, will all be living with me (fingers crossed) in the coming months, and year.
Ive somehow managed to succeed in not sinking in life, to be really honest, alot of times my little iceberg has nearly melted, but my friends have been there to chill it up, pile on the party ice and keep me aimlessly floating around on the sea for longer.
For some reason my ex told me she’s still in love with me, and all of those puzzle pieces have started come together, and this iceberg found some aim.
Life is crazy, the next few weeks are going to be crazy… Ill keep you updated

Did I mention the weather today in Wellington = fucken awesome, too bad I’m working.
That the Wellington Lions came into the bar on Sunday night? no? well they did, Nonu was clad in body paint, Conrad Smith was dressed up as a jockey.
They were all dressed up and doing a pub crawl, having a great time, ive got a few snaps on my cell phone which are pretty bad, Monique got some photos on her digital, so ill beg for an email containing them to show you.
Ill be out a bit longer then usual this morning, As the bars stocktake has to be done. The weather has just gone shocking, im going to have to bust out a jacket.
Still flat hunting, this time around theres plenty there, its all pretty expensive though (or cheap with tiny rooms / cheap and crap) got a while yet, and everyone is looking (a much better situation this time around)
Oh and hello to everyone over at Wellington Blog Digest, or anyone who has popped in from there, hope I’m keeping you entertained. ![]()
Some big things coming up over the next few weeks.

I mentioned earlier on in the day that the weather was pretty shocking, just how shocking? Well, every time I stepped out from the shops along Jackson street, the wind blew my 95kg frame a meter whilst pelting me with half frozen rain.
Needless to say, I was the only person out on the street this morning.
After work, several cars along Jackson street were door deep in water, bring on the flood of Jackson street! wash away the cafe hogging yuppies who’ve bought our beloved student hub and made it an expensive hell hole.
(P.S, Petone’s actually a lovely place, and I love making a living off those coffee swigging europrats)

I just shaved… I guess its only fair for movember, since I cant grow a mo, ill grow a helmet strap, and look like a twat for a month.
Im thinking I should have left my facial hair, if anything to keep my head warm out there on a day like today.
Got the entire Cure back catalogue last night, so listening to some Robert Smith goodness. Continue reading ‘It’s not a case of doing what’s right’
Some more minor adjustments to the blog today, New theme, which is much nicer then the previous one.
I’ll be tweaking it all day.

Well we lost, but it was a bloody good game, with some really exciting breaks.
Alana wins bragging rights.
Benny actually cried, he was the only person there in Waikato gear, and his boys pulled it off.
Congrats to the MooLoo’s, the better team on the night.

Best of luck to the 2006 Wellington Lions tonight in mooloo country. Continue reading ‘Call Me Loyal’
