As mentioned in my last post,
Well its still a grey/green colour, its still a bitch to load (probably worse) for anyone with a slower connection (I know this because Its a bitch loading for me right now, and I’m on cable) or anyone running Opera.
The Shoutbox has been removed from the frontpage, causing an uproar.
The new personal pages ‘Recent Deviation’ thumbnails only look good, if all of your images look the same, there is now too much variation in fonts, including a mixture of sizes, colour (bad contrast, infact, no contrast, green and blue are complimentary), crispness I can go on…
whats the upside? well the homepage has less scrolling now, which is a major win in its own, as there is less text, the site is more user friendly, especially for new users who could be ‘threatend’ or ‘confused’ with the bulk information on the last few versions of the site.
It doesn’t really look half bad, I think they’ve done a great job of the new header and the tab layout that lives in it, I’m liking the new colour scheme (except for the text) and cant complain about the way they are compiling the info now.
Another added bonus is the little friend toggle on the right hand side, organising contacts can now become easier and easier.
All and all I think it could be the best version of dA yet, provided they do something about the Text variation (its actually harbouring right on the edge of annoying) and tweak userpage’s a bit.

Well, I’m not too fond of the colour scheme like you are, but I agree that the fonts used there are a complete disaster.
I hate it! I want the old one back.
I dont hate it, change is good!
I just hope they tweak it up a bit, theres alot to improve on.
