I know you tried to change

I feel kind of bad plugging this album, not because its anything less the brilliant, but because I haven't ranted about it yet.
Metric was a band I found shortly after the 'Yeah yeah yeahs' I guess I was going through an Alt / Pop / Female lead singer stage at that point,. infact if you go to Metrics audioscrobbler, you'll find that Y.Y.Y are in the similar artist list.

Anyways, I planned on doing a write up about 'Broken Social Scene' Today, however upon realising that my reference to Metric was going to be useless, ill push that back a few weeks, and tell you about one of my favourite Indie Bands.
I think I looked at metric, because it said they were Canadian, and I love Canadians, the song I first found was 'Hustle Rose' which had a kind of funk / synth / catchy riff at the start, with Emily Haines's gorgeous voice over-laced, I didn't even need to hear any more, I got the full length album Old World Underground, Where Are You Now? fairly much by the end of the day.

Along with catchier songs (Hustle Rose, Combat Baby, Dead Disco) they have a more solid rock sound, I.O.U being one of the better examples on this album, check it out for yourself, I'm not here to sell albums, oh Emily Haines is hot!
