Winter is here, and with it (in wellington) it brings a few special things, The population has taken to wearing All Blacks jackets, beanies etc etc, skate stores are selling the snowboarding jackets/ parkas in which I think look awesome (and plan to buy) and of the up-most importance, Concord Dawn dropped one crazy album on our laps.
Yes its May, which means New Zealand Music Month is here for us all to enjoy whether your hitting some live gigs, buying albums, or just enjoying the coverage Radio and T.V are giving, you have to admit, NZMM kicks arse.
Back to what is at hand anyways, Chaos By Design was bound to be awesome, for starters, check out the album title, it sounds as-though it belongs to a metal band, adding to this fact, the sleeve is full of old-school armour.

When you throw the disc on, you almost revert to 'Uprisings' hit 'morning light' a keyboard (almost set up to sound like some demented church organ) and lyrical overdub mark the beginning of 'Broken Eyes' which will be huge.
My next big track was released on air sometime before the album, 'Man For All Seasons' which is a brilliant peice on Concord Dawn / progressive / D&B.
My Opinion is if you like Drum and Bass, any kind of electronica, or you just want to pick up something a lil different grab this, also hunt down 'Uprising' (which is another album ill have to get around to ranting about) because its brilliant, they sit together so well.
Tama.
