As far as music goes, I think ive got a certain prefured style (which is stripped down rock) So its incredibly confusing to have The Postal Service ranked so highly on my Last.fm, It's bizzare that someone who's top artists include, Tool, The Transplants, Janes Addiction (and so on and so on) listens to this electro/indie/pop duo.But if you heard them yourself, im sure you'd become addicted too.
Theyre called the postal service because the two full time band members live an incredible distance from one another, so Tamborello would make a track, and mail it through to Death Cab For Cuties Ben Gibbard who would then mess around with them and send them back.
As far as there albums go (and they do have quite a library building up full of tastey E.Ps etc) check out 'Give Up' which is a brilliant album definitely worth its spot in my playlist.
